In celebration of The Daily Gazette’s 125th anniversary, the newspaper will publish newsworthy items from past editions and past decades.

1999: The State University of New York system administrators announced that four out of every 10 college-bound New York seniors decided to go to a SUNY school.
2004: FMA Live! performed a fast-paced show demonstrating the laws of physics at Schenectady’s Central Park Middle School as part of NASA’s Explorer School program. For the show’s finale, Principal Mary Ozarowski was strapped into a chair mounted on a hovercraft and steered into a giant whipped cream pie.
2014: Schenectady and SolarCity’s opened one of the largest solar arrays in the state at 1134 Balltown Road with the hope that it would save the city at least $42,000 a year.
