No. 1 Shaker (6-0) hasn’t allowed more than a single touchdown in a game since Week 3. Riding a four-game winning streak, No. 2 Shenendehowa (5-1) travels to Class A’s Averill Park this week. No. 3 Guilderland (4-2) and No. 4 Bethlehem (4-2) are both coming off Week 5 wins, while No. 5 CBA (4-2) has lost two of its last three and plays at Shaker this week.

Since Week 1, No. 1 Queensbury (6-0) hasn’t been played closer than 22 points. No. 2 Ballston Spa (4-2) trades spots with No. 3 Troy (5-1) after the Scotties’ 61-21 win against Scotia-Glenville. No. 4 Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (4-2) looks to bounce back from a loss against Class AA’s Bethlehem when it heads to Queensbury, while No. 5 Averill Park (5-1) looks to knock off Class AA’s Shenendehowa before heading into the postseason.

As this season has rolled along, it’s increasingly looked like a final between No. 1 Glens Falls (6-0) and No. 2 Holy Trinity (6-0) is inevitable. However, No. 3 Schuylerville (5-1) is a formidable challenger to both top teams, while No. 4 Schalmont (4-2) is trending in the right direction and gets to host Holy Trinity this week. No. 5 Cobleskill-Richmondville (3-3) drops a spot after losing at home to Schuylerville.

No. 1 Stillwater (6-0) topped archrival Mechanicville 34-7 in Week 6 during the programs’ annual matchup. After falling to Class B’s Holy Trinity in Week 5, No. 2 Cambridge/Salem (5-1) bounced back with a 42-0 win against Class D’s Whitehall. No. 3 Fonda-Fultonville (6-0) gets a chance to make a statement this Friday at Stillwater. No. 4 Greenwich (5-1) and No. 5 Watervliet (3-2) stay put.

With an 8-7 win, No. 1 Warrensburg (5-1) bested No. 2 Chatham (4-2) in Week 6. No. 3 Whitehall (3-3) remains the best of the rest. No. 4 Corinth/Fort Edward (3-3) plays at Chatham in Week 7, while No. 5 Helderberg Valley (1-5) takes on Class C’s Taconic Hills after it recorded its first win of the season in Week 6.
