Gloversville Police: Help sought IDing synagogue burglary suspect

GLOVERSVILLE – Police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in the burglary of a synagogue in Gloversville.

The burglary happened during the evening hours of Thursday at the Knesseth Israel Synagogue on East Fulton Street, police said.

Investigators found surveillance footage of a man believed to be a suspect in the case. Police released two of those images Monday.

The suspect in the images wore an “ECKO” brand hooded sweatshirt and jeans, police noted.
