Saratoga County holding senior event on Friday

SARATOGA COUNTY — Saratoga County will sponsor a free “Year of the Senior” Fall Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Milton Town Park.

The event will recognize senior citizen veterans in the county, and the Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies who have done lip-sync performances with country singer Luke Bryan on national television will perform.

“Seniors are at the heart of Saratoga County, and we’re happy to have the opportunity to thank them for their contributions,” said county Board of Supervisors Chairman Kevin Tollisen, R-Halfmoon.

The event, free to all county residents over age 60, will feature festival food and seasonal favorites like cider doughnuts, fresh apples and apple cider.
