BUFFALO — Next week’s Liberty League showdown between Union and Ithaca is set.

Quarterback William Bellamy threw four touchdown passes, leading the 24th-ranked Dutchmen to a 28-14 victory over Buffalo State on Saturday.

The victory sets up next Saturday’s battle for first place between Union (4-0 LL, 7-0 overall) and Ithaca. The Bombers rolled past Rochester 59-0.

Next Saturday’s game is at Ithaca.

Bellamy, who was 17 of 23 for 264 yards, threw a pair of TD passes in the first quarter, one for 12 yards to Andre Ross Jr. and the other 19 yards to Spencer Crystal.

Bellamy hit William Sirmon IV for a 45-yard scoring strike with under six minutes left in the second quarter. His final TD pass went to Crystal for 9 yards with 6:13 left in the game.
