BALLSTON SPA — Two Saratoga County men fired guns inside residences this week in separate incidents, Saratoga County sheriff’s officials said.
No one was hurt.
In the first incident, Chad M. Gayes, 26, of Galway, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony.
Gayes is accused of firing a lever action rifle inside a residence in Galway during a domestic incident Monday, officials said.
The shot sent a .30-.30 caliber round through a wall and into another bedroom where a person was sleeping, officials said. Investigators believe it was unintentional and no injuries resulted.
Gayes was arraigned and released to return to court later.
In the other case, deputies arrested Ronald R. Cooper, 55, of Maple Avenue, Greenfield, on one count of first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony.
Cooper is accused of firing a shotgun during a disturbance at his residence while another person was inside. The date of the incident was not released.
Deputies also found Cooper in possession of marijuana and cited him for violation marijuana possession, officials said.
Cooper was arraigned and released to appear in court later.
