UAlbany women’s soccer freshman Leah Pais was named America East Rookie of the Year on Monday.
Pais has four goals and two assists on the season, which continues 7 p.m. Thursday for second-seeded UAlbany with a home semifinal against third-seeded Hartford.
Pais is the fourth UAlbany player in the last six seasons to be recognized as the league’s top rookie. UAlbany’s Jada Colbert was last year’s top rookie.
