TOWN OF SARATOGA — It has been four years since Town Councilman Fred “Fritz” Drumm was reported missing from his home on Burgoyne Road, and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department wants the public to know there’s still a substantial reward for information leading to his whereabouts.

Drumm, of Schuylerville, was 68 years old at the time of his disappearance. He hasn’t been seen since Nov. 24, 2015.

Family members reported him missing, and an extensive police search of the land around his farm turned up nothing.

Sheriff’s deputies said any known vehicles that Drumm had access to were located at his residence at the time of his disappearance, and no information has been developed to indicate that he left the area.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s office wants the public to know there is now a $10,000 cash reward for information that leads to finding him.

“The Sheriff’s Office is asking that the public pay attention to their surroundings when outside in the Town of Saratoga and surrounding communities, and report anything that could be related to Mr. Drumm’s disappearance, including, but not limited to clothing, identification, skeletal remains or any other items located that may be related,” stated deputies in a news release Tuesday. Drumm was a 16-year member of the Saratoga Town Board and was due to leave office in December of 2015.

In addition to his Town Board work, Drumm had been a youth baseball coach, a member of the town’s Board of Assessment Review and a member of the town Planning Board.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s office encourages members of the public to call 518-885-6761 with any information that could help locate Drumm.
