State Police: Middleburgh pedestrian struck and killed by municipal dump truck

MIDDLEBURGH – A municipal dump truck involved with snow removal struck and killed 56-year-old village resident Tuesday, state police said.

State police identified the resident killed as Terri L. Puchala. 

The New York State Police responded to reports of the fatal accident at approximately 2:23 p.m., state police said. 

The accident occurred on Baker Avenue in Middleburgh, near the intersection with Main Street, state police said. 

The investigation into the accident remained ongoing Tuesday evening.
