CLIFTON PARK – A staff member at Shenendehowa schools has tested positive for COVID-19, the district said Sunday.
The staff member worked at Tesago Elementary, but has not been to work since March 9, the district said.
The district has been in contact with the Saratoga County Health Department, the district said.
“Out of an abundance of caution, district staff has been working diligently today to clean and disinfect Tesago/Skano,” the district said. “Custodial staff in all buildings are cleaning and disinfecting schools and buses in accordance with the NYS DOH recently distributed Cleaning Guidance for Schools.”
Classes at Shenendehowa schools were previously cancelled for this coming week, March 16 to March 20.
