SOUTH GLENS FALLS – A South Glens Falls man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a man found dead at a motel early Saturday, state police said.
Juan A. Vasquez, 46, of South Glens Falls, faces one count of second-degree murder and felony tampering with physical evidence.
Vasquez is accused of stabbing to death 30-year-old South Glens Falls resident Kenny J. Shipski Jr., state police said.
Shipski was found dead just after 7 a.m. Saturday morning in a room at the Clear View Motel. The preliminary investigation indicated he had been stabbed multiple times.
The South Glens Falls Police Department initially responded and the state police took over the investigation at South Glens Falls department’s request.
Vasquez was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and ordered held without bail.
