JOHNSTOWN – A Johnstown man damaged a Fulton County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle during a traffic stop recently, the department said Monday.
The incident happened during a traffic stop April 27 and deputies charged the driver with damaging the patrol car Wednesday, officials said.
The incident happened in Johnstown when deputies stopped driver Joshuah Ogden, 28, of West Clinton Street, for a vehicle and traffic violation, officials said.
Ogden, however, became combative during the stop and damaged the patrol vehicle, officials said.
Ogden was arrested and charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, along with misdemeanor resisting arrest and violation disorderly conduct. He also faces traffic violations.
Ogden was released to appear in court later.
