Bob Dylan & His Band has canceled its upcoming show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, due to COVID-19.
The band was scheduled to perform on July 9, along with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and The Hot Club of Cowtown. On Tuesday, Dylan canceled all of his June and July tour dates, tweeting: “We hope to be back out on the road at the earliest possible time once we are confident that it is safe for both fans and concert staff.”
Dylan joins a growing list of artists who have canceled summer tours and concerts due to COVID-19. Over the last few weeks, the following artists have canceled or postponed scheduled SPAC shows: The Black Keys, Chris Young, Alanis Morissette, Journey with Pretenders, The Lumineers, Zac Brown Band, Celtic Woman, Dead & Company and Dave Matthews Band.
