Duanesburg residents will vote via absentee ballot June 9 to fill three Board of Education seats, though only one candidate has applied to run.

Board member Camille Siano Enders is running for reelection to a three-year term beginning July 1. Another three-year seat is open, and a one-year seat is open after the resignation of board member Henrietta “Hank” Dunn.

The June 9 election will take place by absentee ballots only; voters must return their ballots to the district June 9 at 5 p.m. The three candidates receiving the most votes will be elected, including any valid write-in candidates. Candidates will be listed on the ballot alphabetically by last name.
