Seven candidates file to run for three seats on Saratoga Springs school board

Seven candidates are seeking to fill three open Saratoga Springs City school board seats in the June 9 election.

The board vice president Anjeanette Emeka is running for reelection. Newcomers Marissa Altimar, Erika Borman, Scott Jackson, Tony Krackeler, Casey Putnam and Matthew Taylor will also appear on the ballot. 

The June 9 election will take place by absentee ballots only; voters must return their ballots to the district by June 9 at 5 p.m. The three candidates receiving the most votes will be elected to serve three-year terms beginning July 1. The candidates will be listed on the ballot alphabetically by last name.
