BALLSTON SPA — Police took one man into custody and were continuing to search for another in woods near the Saratoga County Fairground Saturday night.
The search for the two men involved state police, including a state police helicopter, and multiple other police agencies.
Police at the scene would only confirm that the men were involved in a vehicle pursuit that began in the village of Scotia. The chase went through Glenville and Charlton before going on to Ballston Spa.

Police said the men fled their vehicle near Prospect Street, leading Ballston Spa authorities to warn the public about 7 p.m. to stay inside and report anyone seen running.
While one man was taken into custody around 8 p.m., the search for the second continued into dusk.
