SCHENECTADY – A city man has been arrested, accused of stabbing a woman in the leg with a kitchen knife, authorities said.

City police Friday arrested Adam Coleman, 19, of Hamburg Street, and charged him with one count of second-degree assault, a felony.

Coleman is accused of using the knife to stab the woman just before 2 a.m. May 3, according to police allegations filed in court. Police described the incident in court paperwork as domestic in nature.
