Schenectady Police: Man stabbed late-Wednesday in Mont Pleasant; Investigation ongoing

SCHENECTADY – A man was a stabbed late-Wednesday in Mont Pleasant, police said.

The man was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. A police spokesman did not have further information Thursday morning.

The stabbing happened just before midnight Wednesday night on Bridge Street, city police spokesman Sgt. Nick Mannix said. Paramedics, however, met up with the victim in a car on Seventh Avenue, near the corner with Pleasant Street, according to information available at the scene.

The investigation was continuing Thursday morning, police said.
