Access to the Battlefield Tour Road at the Saratoga National Historical Park will reopen July 1, according to new guidelines announced last week.
The road will be open to vehicle access daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The grounds are also open from sunrise to sunset for walking and pedestrian and cyclist access to the tour road.
The Saratoga Monument, General Philip Schuyler House, park visitor center and Neilson House all remain closed. Water is not available at the park and visitors are asked to bring enough water for their visit.
“We are excited to be able to final welcome visitors back onto the tour road to experience both the natural and cultural treasures at the park,” the Park Superintendent Amy Bracewell said in a statement.
