He later turned himself in on the charge Friday. He was arraigned and released to pre-trial services.

The arrest comes after Shippee and another man were arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office June 2 and accused of shooting at two separate occupied residences in the Town of Day May 11, sheriff’s officials said then.

The residences had numerous people sleeping inside. No one was injured, sheriff’s officials said.

Shippee, Kenneth Burdick, 46, also of Hadley, and Kyle D. Baker, 46. of Warrensburg, were each charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, felonies. The two are accused of acting with others, officials said then. The investigation was still active.
