WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: Graduating this year has been strange. I never imagined that I would be graduating during a pandemic, but it is definitely a reminder that plans can change quickly, so we should appreciate what we have while we still have it.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: This semester, I learned that my classmates and I can conquer any obstacles that may get in our way.

WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: Recently, my school had a “teacher wave” for the seniors. The teachers and staff got together with the local police department and fire department to wave at the seniors as we picked up any items that we left in our lockers. It was a very sweet gesture, and it’s a positive memory from my senior year that I’ll never forget.

WHAT YOU WILL MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: Seeing my friends and teachers every day.

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of Little Mix, Niall Horan, and Alvaro Soler.

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: I get to focus my studies on a topic of my choosing rather than general subjects.

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: My mom. She is one of the strongest people I know.
