Amanda Clifford

PARENTS: Paul Clifford and Darlene Marchand-Clifford

COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: Hamilton College, with a double major in mathematics and biology

AFTER COLLEGE: I’m not certain what my plans are yet. I’m thinking of possibly becoming a college professor or going into a field of research

WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: It can definitely be difficult at times, and sometimes a little sad, but it reminds us that we do not have to physically be together to enjoy one another. We can share our hearts with each other in many other ways too.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: That we are all much stronger than we think we are.

WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: The Christmas hallway decorating contest between the four grade levels. Everybody went all out and got wrapped up in lots of school spirit and friendly competition!

WHAT YOU WILL MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: All of my wonderful teachers and friends.

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Lots of ‘60s and ‘70s music, especially the Carpenters!

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: Moving on to explore new things and further discover my passions and interests.

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: My family, teachers, friends, and everyone who simply wakes up every morning, willing to give the world their all.
