WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: Graduating now is definitely strange. However, our ability as a class to accept these circumstances shows our human ability to adapt. In the end, this is an undoubtedly unique experience and will never be forgotten by any of us.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: I learned that my classmates and I are much closer than I expected. At one point, my friends and I were watching movies over Facetime every week. I think we are all incredibly grateful to have technology that allows us to stay connected even when we cannot be physically together.

WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: My favorite memory was senior night for Track and Field. Of course, we did not have a season. However, our coaches had a socially distanced time slot for each of us to go to the track to take pictures and give speeches. Like the rest of the year, it was very unique, and I will never forget it. In some ways, the experience was actually more intimate than the regular senior night would have been.

WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: Meeting for clubs and sports

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Soundtracks from musicals

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: I’m excited to be in a new city with new people and experiences

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: I’m inspired by everyone around me. I love meeting new people because everyone has a different story that inspires me in many different ways.
