Canajoharie High School

Eric Elliott

SALUTATORIAN

PARENTS: Lance and Susan Elliott

COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: I’ll be attending Harvard College in the Fall

AFTER COLLEGE: As of right now, I see myself working as a computer programmer

WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: It’s certainly very different from what we all expected, but thanks to the efforts of our teachers and administration, we’ve made the best of our situation.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: I learned that life is a lot more boring when you don’t see your friends every day at school.

WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: I’ll never forget having fun with my friends in Mr. Sotola’s classroom. We’d have fun with the different experiments we’d be working on, and we’d get to play games once our work was done.

WHAT YOU WILL MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: I’ll miss seeing my hometown friends on a regular basis.

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: I’m a big fan of Tyler, the Creator.

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: I think the best part about graduating will be the increased freedom that comes with adulthood.

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: Throughout many of my teenage years Felix Kjellberg, better known as Pewdiepie, has been a great inspiration to me. As he’s grown more successful, he’s used his platform for good and has never compromised on his values, which is something I respect.
