Matthew Murphy
VALEDICTORIAN
Murphy has won numerous academic awards including the President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, New York State Comptroller’s Achievement Award, and the Neena C. Rao Humanitarian Award.
Murphy is also president of high school National Honor Society and a member of AHS’ New York State Science Honor Society.
He is a competitor on the soccer field and the baseball diamond and has been part of many extracurricular activities throughout high school, including Masterminds, an NCBI student leader, Reality Check of HFM Counties and he attended a statewide Youth Summit the last two summers.
Murphy plans on attending Villanova University to study Chemical Engineering.
