WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: Graduating during COVID-19 definitely hasn’t been easy or fair. But personally, it has given me a chance to finish my senior year early with no distractions from my school work. It may not be what I or anyone had expected, but I’m very grateful to be graduating at all during this pandemic.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: I work better in my own space. It may not be convenient, but I found myself more focused and able to get my work done in a more timely manner than in the presence of my classmates. Although we all would have liked to finish the year traditionally, I think we all benefited from the push to have personal motivation when it comes to school and preparing for our futures.

WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: I’ll never forget my last soccer game on the girls’ varsity team and the last sweet victory we celebrated that day.

WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: My soccer team! Playing soccer is a huge passion of mine, which I plan to indulge in when I’m in college. I’ll miss being a part of a team and traveling to away games and dominating.

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Twenty One Pilots, Lewis Capaldi, and Billie Eilish. “I love you,” and pop or indie/alternative.

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: Being able to be independent and start working on my future plans! I’m so excited to start college at Lehigh University and meet new people.

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU?: My sister, Samantha.
