Mohonasen High School
Tim Jordan
Top 10
PARENTS: Lisa Jordan
COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: I am attending Clarkson University hopefully this fall with a major in Mechanical Engineering.
AFTER COLLEGE: I don’t know specifically but I would like to work in more environmentally conscious energy sources.
WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: It has been a strange experience. Everything has become harder because of the lack of structure and due to the strangeness I do not know what is expected of me. I’m not mad about possibly missing graduation though. I have my sights set a little higher than high school graduation.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: I never realized how much I needed the classroom experience. I am happy to be one of the few fortunate people to have the ability to strive in a classroom environment but in hindsight almost depended on it to learn. I always thought I could learn by myself because I think that I have trouble accepting help for some foolishly proud reason. In all I couldn’t have learned anything without my classmates because they were partly my teachers.
WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: There is no one thing I can remember. The whole year was one crazy mess. However, it was quite a fun mess being able to share it with my friends. I think the memory of and appreciation for the simpler, less stressful times of high school will be the most important memory.
WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: I can imagine it only gets more expensive and harder. It is something I will and will not miss. I want to be independent but also want to appreciate that I need to enjoy the time I have without the endless responsibility.
WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Mac Miller, Khalid, EDEN, and AJR
BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: I am excited for college. I have already started talking to my future classmates and I am ready to have more new friends
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: My mother
