GLOVERSVILLE – Gloversville Police are investigating the deaths of two people, a man and a woman found dead in a city home Sunday, police said.
The two people, both 31, were found dead just after 3:30 p.m. inside a residence at 128 West St., police said.
Police had been directed to the home by a family member to check on the welfare of a person there, police said. The person had not heard from the family member in several days and the family member had missed a scheduled event, police said.
Officers entered the residence based on the call and found both people inside dead.
“The circumstances surrounding the death of these two individuals remains under investigation,” police said in a release. “As of the time of this release, there is not believed to be any danger to the community at large.”
