GREENFIELD – A Rotterdam man has been arrested, accused of secretly recording co-workers in the bathroom at a state-run home where he was employed, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said Monday.

Eric E. Sadlon, 48, of Leo Avenue, was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance, felonies.

Sadlon is accused of secretly placing a recording device in an employee bathroom at a state-run residential home for people with disabilities where he worked, officials said.

The hidden camera then captured images and video of unknowing employees while they were using the restroom, officials said.

A female employee discovered the device concealed within a USB wall charger and alerted authorities, officials said.

Sadlon was arraigned and released to appear in court later.

The investigation is ongoing. The sheriff’s office is working in conjunction with the state Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs.
