ROTTERDAM — Town police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired from a vehicle on a residential street in the middle of the morning Saturday.

Police said they were called to the area of Vischer Avenue and Hendricks Street for a report of shots fired at about 10 a.m., and the investigation determined there were at least two vehicles involved. There was no immediate indication of anyone being injured.

An occupant of one vehicle is believed to have fired at least two shots at someone in another vehicle, police said. Two shell cases were located at the scene.
