Dance Flurry, a nonstop weekend of dancing and jamming that takes place in Saratoga Springs each February, will go on in 2021, though it will be mostly virtual.
Organizers recently announced the change, writing, “We know this will be disappointing to many, but your health is our first priority and we can’t take any chances. But fear not, this will be something new to fall in love with, full of the same Flurry spirit we all cherish.”
The three-day dance festival, which usually draws a crowd of roughly 5,000 people to downtown Saratoga Springs, is scheduled for Feb. 12-14. While the event will mainly be held online, organizers may allow some in-person programming if they can do so safely.
While the full schedule has not yet been announced, organizers say the virtual Dance Flurry will include dance, music, instruction and jam sessions. For updates and more information, visit flurryfestival.org.
