Schenectady firefighters battle blaze on Arch Street in Hamilton Hill

The fire was called in at about 11:30 a.m.

SCHENECTADY – Schenectady firefighters battled a blaze late Tuesday morning in Hamilton Hill, officials said.

No injuries to residents or firefighters were reported.

The call came in at about 11:30 a.m. at 808 Arch St., officials said.

Firefighters got the blaze under control in about 20 minutes. The cause of the fire remained under investigation.

The fire is the ninth structure fire the department has fought since June 1, officials said.
