Saratoga County probing low-risk Burger King exposure

Exposures at Halfmoon restaurant July 29, 30, and 31

HALFMOON — People who visited the Burger King restaurant in Halfmoon on any of three evenings last week may have been exposed to COVID-19, though Saratoga County public health officials say the exposure was “low-risk.”

The exposures took place on Wednesday, July 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday, July 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and Friday, July 31, from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., county officials said.

The employee who has tested positive for COVID was wearing a mask at all times, but anyone who visited during those times should monitor their health and get tested if experiencing symptoms of COVID, officials said.
