WILTON – A Fort Edward man used a bat to break windows Sunday morning in Wilton and then threw the bat at someone, injuring them, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.

Aaron C. Licis, 36, of Fort Edward, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to an address on Northern Pines Road in Wilton just before 9 a.m. Sunday  for a disturbance, officials said.

Deputies soon determined Licis had smashed the windows at another person’s residence and then threw the bat at a person, hitting that person in the leg and injuring them, officials said.

Licis was arraigned and released to pre-trial services to return to court later.
