ALBANY — The state will allow bowling alleys to reopen Monday and also will issue protocols Monday for commercial gyms to reopen, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday.
Bowling alleys will need to take the extensive safety measures that have become commonplace as the state reopens the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Every other lane will be closed and bowlers must stay at the head of their own lane, not roam around.
Cuomo didn’t say when gyms might actually be able to reopen, just that the terms for them doing so would be issued Monday.
