COBLESKILL – A traffic stop on Interstate 88 last week led to a felony marijuana charge against a Cobleskill man, state police said Tuesday.

Benjamin D. Engle, 23, of Cobleskill, was charged Aug. 23 with one count of third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony.

Troopers stopped Engle on Interstate 88 in the Town of Cobleskill. Troopers then soon discovered he possessed about 13.5 ounces of marijuana, state police said.

Engle was processed and released to appear in court in October.
