ALBANY – The Trustco Bank in downtown Albany was robbed early Thursday afternoon, police said.

A man walked into the branch at 112 State St. at about 12:25 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

The note also implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. No injuries were reported, police said.

The man then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and pants, with a bandanna over his face.

The investigation remained ongoing later Thursday afternoon. Anyone with information is asked to contact Albany Police detectives at 518-462-8039.
