NELLISTON — A Nelliston man stabbed another man in the back with a utility knife and threatened and choked two others Tuesday morning, Montgomery County Sheriff’s officials said.
Officials described the stabbing victim’s injuries as non-life-threatening.
Victor G. Howard, 22, was arrested at the scene on charges of second-degree assault and first-degree criminal contempt, felonies, along with misdemeanor counts of menacing, weapons possession and criminal obstruction of breathing, officials said.
He is accused of stabbing the man and choking the other two at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a Nelliston residence, officials said. Howard and the stabbing victim knew each other, officials said.
Howard was arraigned and ordered held on $25,000 bail.
State police and GAVAC assisted during the investigation, officials said.
