SCHENECTADY – A man has been arrested after firing multiple shots into two occupied apartments early Monday, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
Jason Sambula, 24, address unavailable, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies.
Sambula is accused of firing the shots just after midnight Monday on Bailey Street. The bullets entered two different occupied apartments, passing through furniture and kitchen appliances, according to police allegations filed in court.
Police based the charges on, among other evidence, video surveillance and physical evidence, according to the allegations.
Sambula was arraigned and ordered held on $25,000 bail. He remained in custody Monday evening.
