STILLWATER – A Stillwater man has been arrested, accused of possessing child pornography, federal prosecutors said.
Daniel Porrazzo, 51, of Stillwater, was indicted Friday. He was arraigned and detained until a scheduled hearing Monday.
Porrazzo is accused of possessing multiple images of child pornography on two laptop computers in June 2016. The child pornography included depictions of the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, prosecutors said.
If convicted, Porrazzo would face a possible maximum term of 20 years in prison.
The case is being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua R. Rosenthal.
