WASHINGTON COUNTY – A man who appeared on the popular Netflix show “Tiger King” has been arrested in Granville, the sheriff’s office said.

Timothy Lee Stark, 55, was booked Wednesday at the Washington County Jail on a charge of being a fugitive from justice in Indiana, officials said.

“Mr. Stark is known as one of the players in the exotic animal world as portrayed in the Netflix documentary ’Tiger King,’” the sheriff’s office said in a release.

Stark was arrested by the Granville Police Department, officials said. Further details on the arrest, what led to it or the charges in Indiana were not immediately available.

TMZ, however, reported last month Stark had been found in contempt over missing animals from his Indiana zoo.
