Philadelphia Eagles players celebrate after an incomplete pass by the San Francisco 49ers at the end of last Sunday's game at Levi's Stadium.

I have some great news and some good news.

I’ll start with the good news. I confidently picked against my Philadelphia Eagles against the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.

I was wrong.

The Eagles won 25-20 to get their first victory of the season. That win moved them into first place in the NFC (L)East with a 1-2-1 record! Let the celebration begin!

The great news is I finally got the better of Daily Gazette news columnist Sara Foss for the first time this season. I went 10-5, while Sara was 9-6. I am 40-22-1, while Sara is 43-19-1.
