TOWN OF WOODBURY – Two Schenectady residents are each facing a felony drug charge after a traffic stop on the Thruway in Orange County, state police said.

Tito A. Garcia-Castro, 36, and passenger Betty L. Pendt, 32, both of Schenectady, were arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, along with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped them Tuesday evening on Interstate 87 in the Town of Woodbury, Orange County, for multiple vehicle and traffic violations, state police said.
