NHL on NBC broadcaster Mike Emrick discusses his retirement after 50 years covering hockey on the latest edition of "The Parting Schotts Podcast."

On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” host and Associate Sports Editor Ken Schott is joined by Mike “Doc” Emrick, who announced his retirement as lead play-by-play voice for the NHL on NBC on Monday. “Doc” reminisces about his 50 years in hockey, the last 47 spent as a broadcaster. Some prominent hockey and broadcasting figures also comment on Emrick’s retirement.
