
SCHENECTADY – The man shot Sunday night at the Central Park basketball courts suffered an injury that appeared to be non-life-threatening, police said Monday.
The man was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment, city police spokesman Sgt. Nick Mannix said.
Police were called to the basketball courts just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of the shooting. They arrived to find the victim nearby.
Police continued to investigate the shooting Monday. No arrests were reported.
