SCHENECTADY – A Schenectady home was damaged in a Monday morning fire, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.
The fire was called in at about 5:20 a.m. at 2122 Neil St. Neighbors alerted residents after seeing smoke coming from the house, Assistant Fire Chief Don Mareno said.
The home sustained fire damage to the attic area and smoke and water damage elsewhere. Firefighters got it out in about 25 minutes.
The cause remained under investigation later Monday, but it did not appear suspicious, Mareno said.
