SARATOGA SPRINGS – A Saratoga Springs woman was arrested and charged with drunken driving Wednesday night after crashing into a car parked in a driveway that wasn’t her own and pushing that vehicle into a house, authorities said.

No injuries were reported in the incident, police said.

Kaitlynn Boyd, 32, of the Geyser Crest neighborhood, was arrested and charged with multiple misdemeanors, including aggravated DWI in the Wednesday night crash, police said.

The crash happened at a home on Quevic Drive. A police spokesman Thursday did not have full details on the crash, but information at the scene indicated the driver had crashed into a vehicle parked in a driveway that wasn’t her own.

The spokesman declined to provide Boyd’s address, citing policy, but confirmed she lived in the same neighborhood where the crash happened and did not live at the address where the crash happened.

In all, Boyd faces one count of driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation and fourth-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors.

Her alleged blood alcohol content was unavailable, but the aggravated DWI charge indicates she’s accused of having a BAC over 0.18 percent. The legal limit to drive is 0.08.

In addition to police involvement, city code enforcement, the power company and fire department all responded to the scene, police said.
