SARATOGA COUNTY — Some of the people who participated in this year’s early voting at the Gavin Park polling site in Wilton may have been exposed to COVID-19, Saratoga County Public Health said on Friday.
Unspecified individuals who tested positive for the virus wore masks, but social distancing was not maintained at all times.
People who visited the polling place on Monday, Oct. 26 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8:40 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. may have been exposed, officials said. Gavin Park was one of three early voting sites the county operated, so it is possible that people from well outside the Wilton area were there to vote at these times.
Anyone who visited the polling place during the dates and times listed should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and contact their healthcare provider to get a diagnostic test, county officials said.
