Schools: Ide leads Saratoga Springs field hockey past Niskayuna

Aubrey Ide starred in Saratoga Springs’ 6-0 win Monday against Niskayuna in Suburban Council field hockey.

In all, Ide totaled one goal and four assists. Ide either scored or assisted on Saratoga Springs’ first five goals.

Lauren Barlow added a goal and an assist for the Blue Streaks as they improved to 8-3.

Julia Cropsey made 21 saves for Niskayuna.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake peppered Columbia with 20 shots en route to a 5-0 victory on the road Monday night.

Jocelyn Hild organized the Spartan attack delivering four assists. Paige Thowe led the scoring with two goals, while Lianna Sullivan added a goal and an assist.

Columbia backstop Sophia Venable made 15 saves.
