School soccer: CBA shuts out Troy

Jordan Proulx had a goal and two assists to lead Christian Brothers Academy to a 5-0 victory over Troy in Suburban Council boys’ soccer on Tuesday.

Paul Abbatiello had a goal and an assist for the Brothers, and Lincoln Freeman, Sumahri Stewart and Ben Baker also scored.

Lucas Varghese scored two goals as Saratoga Springs rolled past Colonie 6-0.

In other boys’ scores, Shaker defeated Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 3-1, and Albany blanked Columbia 2-0.

Isabella Parrotte and Kaiden Ring each scored two goals as Columbia defeated Albany 8-0 in Suburban Council girls’ soccer.

Shaker shut out Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 2-0.
